In the
earlier
time,
there were
no
specific
centers
for
amateur
radio
examinations.
We were
required
to
contact
officer-in-charge
of any
"Government
Monitoring
Station"
located at
various
places in
india
&
apply for
exam.
Exams were
even taken
for a
single
person.
However,
present
condition
is
different.
Many Clubs
&
organizations
are busy
doing mass
amateur
radio exam
conducting
exersise
to enhance
& show
their
floorishing
activity
of amateur
radio.
I am
not here
to explain
what is
going on
where but
to make
available
information
on
locations
of
government
monitoring
stations
where one
may apply
&
appear for
examination.
It
should
also be
noted
that, you
do not
need a
club to
assist
you. You
are also
not
required
to go to
monitoring
station to
apply for
an exam
nor you
are
required
to go to
monitoring
station to
appear for
an exam.
If you
have 20 or
more
students
(Which may
include
yourself)
you may
collect
all
application
togather,
make a
single DD
for
payment
and sub,it
to nearest
monitoring
station.
The
officer-in0charge
will come
to your
town or
city &
take
examination.
